The Inspire 1: The Drone That's Just Right

Everyone knows the tale of Goldilocks. DJI’s Inspire 1 lives in the Goldilocks zone. It’s not too expensive, but not cheap. It’s not quite professional, but it is certainly not an amateur’s toy.

Bridging the gap between DJI’s affordable Phantom Drone and its more modular S1000 series, the Inspire 1 ships stock with a 360-degree rotating 4k ready camera capable of capturing 12 megapixel still photos. The Inspire 1 still has modular capabilities, but out of the box it’s ready for high quality aerial photography and video.

DJI Inspire 1 Leaked Twice Before Reveal

A prototype of DJI’s new Inspire 1, to be revealed later today, was accidently left behind by an engineer at a bar in Shenzhen, China earlier this week. This is the second leak since photos of the Inspire 1 hit the Web last week. Only the device’s capabilities remain unknown.

DJI Set To Reveal 4K Ready Follow Up to the Phantom Drone

In its teaser, DJI sets the tone for an epic reveal with a Christopher Nolan style film score, and filmic quality aerial video. As a sequel to its popular Phantom series, DJI plans to reveal its latest product, the Inspire 1 on November 12.

Trade Shows News Network Report: BZ Media Will Debut InterDrone Show for Commercial Drones in Las Vegas

Ted Bahr, president and CEO of Melville, N.Y.-based BZ Media, said now is the right time to launch a new show his company’s been strategizing about for a while: InterDrone, the International Drone Conference and Exposition will debut Oct. 13-15 next year in Las Vegas.
