Airware, a commercial aerial solution provider, is beefing up its services by acquiring data analytics company Redbird. Redbird is a France-based company designed to provide insight into mining, quarrying and construction industries.

Going forward, the companies will work together to bring Redbird’s geospatial analytics to Airware’s Aerial Information Platform. Together, Airware believes it can provide customers with a enterprise set of workflow, compliance and security features for scaling drone operations. According to the company, with Redbird Airware, customers will benefit from 100x more data and 5x faster turnaround.

In addition, Redbird will enable Airware to create a European headquarters in Paris, which will focus on building analytical apps and support the interaction of Airware into European-based solutions.
